The boat comes as a two part package (1), (unless you have ordered extra optional equipment), the boat hull is wrapped in cardboard & sealed in heavy duty polythene, along with the all important assembly stick.
The second part of the package is a large cardboard box (2) which contains the transom, 3 seats, the bow cap + instructions, nuts/bolts & warranty card.
When you open this big box up, you find the following four items inside (3). The middle & rear seats are the same size, the only difference is the metal hangers, they are longer on the rear seat. If you look at picture 3, you will see that on the middle seat in the picture (which is actually the rear seat), the metal hanger sticks out further than the one on the bottom seat in the picture. The front seat is easily identified, because it is shorter & has tapered edges !
I was surprised when I opened this box, to find the new plastic transom inside. These were only released a few weeks ago with the launch of the latest 14ft boat. I guess the factory very quickly made this standard & that my boat must be freshly imported to the UK. So here is a close up picture of the back of this new style transom (4). The black pad is the outer motor mount & is now a solid block of plastic, compared to the previous plywood version.
